Victorian Onyx & Pearl Mourning Brooch in 14k Gold
Here is a fantastic antique Victorian mourning brooch. This beautifully crafted piece features carved onyx and 14k yellow gold. This surprisingly modern-looking brooch has a beveled U-shaped curve with enamel over gold ball-shaped details on the ends. An articulated drop with a lovely seed pearl and black enamel station connects a geometric dangle to the base, capped with a carved onyx bead. The pearls are bright and luminous against the black background of glossy onyx. The reverse features a gold backing with an antique C-style clasp in working order. This fine example of Victorian mourning jewelry is ready to wear, gift, or add to your collection.
