ABOUT JET
Victorian carved jet jewelry is a striking example of the intricate craftsmanship and elegant design of the 19th century. Jet, a form of lignite, was popular during the Victorian era, especially for mourning jewelry. The rich black stone is often meticulously carved into elaborate floral and geometric patterns, creating pieces that are both dramatic and refined. The deep, glossy finish of carved jet enhances its beauty, making it a timeless choice for those seeking a piece of history with a touch of sophistication. Whether as a necklace, brooch, or ring, Victorian carved jet jewelry remains a cherished symbol of Victorian style and sentiment.
