Here is a wonderful Antique silver snuff box in the shape of a snail shell. This fantastic antique case has a wonderful, dimensional form that is fun to hold and look at. This antique silver shell features a door that flaps open on the bottom, very much like a shell found in nature. The surface has beautiful hand-decorated details and a rococo motif, adding to its antique charm. This little treasure would be beautiful on a desk or curio display and is ready to collect or gift.

The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
