Antique Silver Negligee Assemblage Necklace
Here is a beautiful antique assemblage-type necklace from the early 1900s. This piece has stylistic elements of both the art deco and Edwardian periods! This negligee-style necklace features two large asymmetrical drops. The drops feature black and white enamel around the perimeter with a row of 13 graduated purple stones. At the tip of each row is a bright, tiny seed pearl. Hanging in the center of the pendant is a beautiful amethyst droplet suspended from a loop with two more amethyst/paste stones and one more tiny pearl. The two large dropper pendants dangle beautifully from a bar of 6 amethysts. The amethyst gems are a fun mixture of genuine amethysts and pastes. Some are round cut, and some are table cut, which is quite unusual. This great one-of-a-kind statement necklace is ready to wear, gift, or collect.

CONDITION
This necklace is in nice antique condition. However, the enamel on the dropper pendants is worn in some areas, as shown in photos. The metal does have a heavy patina and some discoloration in a few areas that could be polished by a professional if desired. All stones are secure and ready to wear. Some light wear to the seed pearls. A beautiful antique handmade necklace!
