Here is a rare and delightful antique necklace with a beautiful carved Victorian hand holding a large detailed Rose.  The pendant is finely carved and has beautiful details, including a Victorian ruffled sleeve.  The necklace features a string of delicate cream-colored beads, and the clasp is a super cool barrel closure with a carved screw, however, it should be replaced if your intention is to wear this regularly, as it is not the. most secure invention. Hand motifs were very popular sentimental ornaments during the Victorian era. This carving is a beautiful example.  This is a fantastic and highly collectible little piece of history.  This pendant will make a nice addition to any antique/vintage jewelry collection!  :)

    • The beads are all intact, the barrel screw closure works- but doesn't stop spinning- so new owner will need to be careful not to "over screw" the closure. For regular wear, one might consider replacing the barrel closure with a more secure contemporary clasp for safety. Pendant is lovely! 

    Please note any boxes and props are not part of the listing. 

  • Shipping

    All domestic Shipping within the States is free! Orders will be shipped with insurance via USPS. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your new treasure is on its way. Please allow 1-3 days for us to pack your order. Orders will be carefully packed in the order they are received. The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
